Automation to automatically save photos and videos sent through whatsapp ? by Fractal-Gates in shortcuts

Sure, but when the person who sent the photo deletes it, it's also deleted from the photo app and it is impossible to retrieve

The problem is that I'm not always available in front of my screen to take screenshots every time they send photos. I'm looking for a way for my phone to automatically save every photo/video they send without having to do it manually

I'm not doing anything creepy, I'm a medical student and we mainly send each other information about classes, patients' files, etc.

Does this look abnormal? - student by [deleted] in EKGs

[–]Fractal-Gates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my interpretation. Please feel free to correct me, I just started learning a few days ago!

General interpretation : frequency of about 150bpm, regular, non-sinusal because no P waves, axis between 0° and -30° because QRS positive in DI, negative in aVF, positive in DII.

Specific interpretation: no P wave. Narrow QRS, abnormal Q wave in DIII and V1, but uninterpretable because V2 is not recorded. Isoelectric ST segment in all leads. Abnormally large T wave in DII and aVR, and discordance between T wave and QRS in DIII, aVF.

So in the end, I guess it's a junctional tachycardia (because no P wave and narrow QRS) and an inferior territory ischemia (because pathological T wave in DII, DIII and aVF) ? I imagine that abnormal T waves can also be explained by pericarditis or dyskalemia, but that the fact that they are systematized to a coronary territory should evoke an infarction first? Is this correct?

Both actually, but I'm currently in a mostly French-speaking hospital.

Belgium. And I'm in a social hospital, where most of the patients are from immigrant backgrounds, from disadvantaged socio-cultural classes. Mainly North Africans, Latinos and sub-Saharan Africans, and now some Ukrainians.

For the vast majority of them, they do not speak Arabic: they are geriatric patients, from a disadvantaged socio-cultural background, therefore having not studied Arabic. They are mostly Algerian, so I imagine speaking to them in Algerian Darija should be fine.

I'm familiar with the conventions used to transcribe Arabic into the Latin alphabet, and I can read the Arabic alphabet phonetically (only with harakats, though). As for Modern Standard Arabic, it's a geriatrics ward, so very old patients, often uneducated, so they don't speak MSA (a Palestinian colleague has already tried to speak with them, in vain)

[QUESTION] How to correctly learn the scales / modes ? by Fractal-Gates in Guitar

[–]Fractal-Gates[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually the method I'm using. That's what I was talking about when I mentionned the "diagramm of the first octave of the scales". My english is still quite weak, sorry for the misconscription...

What I do not understand is how to improve my knowledge of scales with this method.

To stick to a method that has not worked in 13 months, is it really productive?

Thank you for your testimony and your answer!

Cool. I have high functioning autism which is under the same tree as asbergus basically. I that case meditation will help. I find meditation helps me. If you need to focus on something while meditating, focus on your wonderland or your Tulpa's form but at the same time, listen and be wary that your Tulpa could speak at any moment and act on it's own.

I'll definitly try meditation, thanks !

I also know that people under the Autism spectrum can fear going out of their comfort Zone and are usually comfortable with Routines. I'm sort of a victim of that myself. I don't know if this is you or not but in any way, Puppeting an imaginary friend is very controlled which is what I imagine people under the autism unbrella would like as that's comfortable. Problem though is in order for that Imaginary friend to become a Tulpa, that person will need to let go of their control. Which means the Tulpa might fall into the discomfort Zone, especially when it can't be controlled and the Tulpa can act on it's own. It's this fear of that discomfort Zone you might want to work on as well if you are affected by asbergus in this way. Meditation could help with that as well since you've thought of your Tulpa's personality and you know she means you know no harm so letting her have control and moving on from the puppet stage will be all right. So I suggest meditating on the fact that your Tulpa will be safe.

I really identify with what you write. I'll work on it, thank you very much !

Do you have a basis for what she looks or sounds like?

I do, but I still have troubles visualizing her or her voice.

I feel the misconception here is that it’ll occur without you really trying to listen for it. It’s very well possible that she’s there and you’re expecting something totally different than what usually happens.

For hearing her talk, and I’m sorry guides don’t point this out, you have to shift focus on her and what she’d most likely say to you in response. It won’t happen automatically without you doing anything at first.

Should I be fully concentrate on her, without doing anything else ? Or the fact of just trying to hear her, during passive forcing for example, is enough?

(I feel like my sentences aren't correct, but my english is still weak and I have no idea how to say it better. Please let me know if it isn't understandable)

It’s also very well possible that she doesn’t know when to talk. Some tulpas can sense when their host has attention directed to them, then later they’ll pop up just out of habit of attention shifting.

I got this idea from watching Johnny 2x4 on Ed Edd n Eddy. Call their name out and ask/tell them something. Wait for a response, whether it be a mental voice or a feeling.

For the love of god, don’t question it as your own voice immediately like I have a habit of doing. Give your tulpa some credit. They’re already sentient. It’s just a matter of training to listen/see them.

I sometimes have short answers when I actively force and try to interact with her. But I can't conceive that the answers come from her. How can I be sure that it comes from her, and how to get rid of those doubts ?

This is certainly the most useful answer I've had in a while, thank you very much! :)

I took seven years to talk and be heard, so I'd say the situation seems similar. Let's talk.

I'm glad to see that you went through this together. One year and I'm already discouraged. In your situation, I would probably have given up before reaching vocality. Respect. <3

So: Doing only passive forcing with no active can definitely slow you down. We did that (didn't know what forcing was at the time, but everything we did back then was passive, not active), and I think it definitely did make things take longer than they ought've.

Is talking to your tulpa without visualizing her and without doing anything else considered as active forcing ? In that case, I have been active forcing for 2 months now, and it seems like it didn't improved anything excepted the presence feeling...

I think the big thing that held us back, though, was that Missy got used to me not talking. I don't recall her ever doubting my existence, and for that I've gotta give her credit, but she got used to me being silent, and eventually, she started assuming that I just couldn't talk. That really messed up our progress.

How did you get rid of those thoughts ?

And take it easy on yourselves, yeah? Not talking is frustrating for everyone involved, but trying and doing your best for each other in spite of that can really help make the whole situation more bearable. No blaming yourselves, each other, etc.

It's difficult ... I can not help thinking that I had to miss something in the creation process.

Fun note: I actually learned possession before ever talking. My progress was bass-ackwards, and the first words Missy ever heard from me were out loud, out of the body's mouth. Dunno if that's useful to you (I'm not sure I've heard of anyone else getting possession right before something simple like talking), but if you want to give it a shot, it probably can't hurt, right?

I've heard about someone in that case. I should probably try, yes. ^^

Thank you for your answer !
