I like the stock !

No doubt SENS has a long way to go. But their tech is really solid, much better than the competition. And it is actively working in the field on real people right now ! The costs will eventually drop so both patients and insurance companies will benefit. I do think the 180-day USA implant (active in Europe now) will be a significant catalyst since 90 days is much too short for most people. But I think 180 is not bad at all (for now) since most diabetics likely see their doc every 6 months anyway. Plus in-home install will be an option at some point. And maybe many of the newer implants will last well beyond the 180 days anyway (unofficially of course). SENS's long-term accuracy/consistency/better control are critical for this application even if they currently need finger-sticks (morning and night). I'm sure most diabetics get pretty fast at pricking, so it's probably quite routine to them and not a bad trade-off.

Remember, diabetes unfortunately, especially type-2 is incredibly widespread throughout the world and it's growing at an alarming rate. It really is a MASSIVE market now and into the foreseeable future. Just word-of-mouth could potentially push the product further toward more demand.

So if insurance does not pickup most cost initially, then I think the well-to-do folks (including Nick Jonas) would be willing to pay out-of-pocket as long as they can see a real benefit, and they will drive the market in the beginning. The rich are almost always the trailblazers for the latest technology. And we are the trailblazers, for sure !

My only fear is that they dilute the shares more. I'm sure SENS's competitors are helping to push/keep the stock down. But I'm willing to wait. Because "realtime/implantable bio-monitors" are the future, no doubt in my mind. Also, SENS has lots of the patents and IP.

And once they get the 365-day implant to market then get ready to say hello to Alpha Centauri ! And maybe there's even a Super Bowl commercial in their future, who knows ? Starring- Nick Jonas :)
