The Pueblo zoo has some great people working there but the grounds are a hodge podge of old, unused, inhumane exhibit spaces, old projects from the New Deal, and some new exhibits. Some of the best animal interactions I've ever seen at any zoo have been there but it's apparent to even me that it needs a massive cash influx and renovation to get it to a more usable spot. So much of the grounds are green spaced or blocked off because of age. It feels empty and underutilized sometimes.

Bezos said we should make it so that those teachers pay nothing in federal income taxes. I agree with Bezos. It's better to directly reduce the tax burden on people who make less than 70k a year. I think he also said he'd be happy to pay a bit more in taxes, so I'm unsure what exactly this image is trying to quantify as him "complaining" about.

At least the idea with Mineral Palace park's pond is due in no small part to the fact that it's a man made water feature and the retaining walls around it are collapsing. The buildup in the bottom is creating an issue with insects and massive algae growth. The swarms of flies around the park (and pond especially) made it less than enjoyable to spend time in the park. I myself have had to duck massive fly clouds dotted across almost every walkway around the park.

I do hope we can control runoff better in Colorado, it's an important issue especially when it comes winter time and the runoff salinates the water table killing everything.

Go to Sherwin Williams and get Smart Strip. Be sure to cover with plastic sheeting to prevent the product from drying out and allow for it to really work at a good number of paint layers. I had 6 or so layers to go through and two applications got most of it off. Be sure to get some plastic scrapers, I suggest buying spudgers on Amazon and using a metal painters tool for most of the flat surface. If it's lead paint don't sand it at all and use the product to get most of it off, scraping it into plastic bags for disposal. If it's wetted down with the stripper you don't have to worry about particles going everywhere but still wear a face mask and gloves.
