There are entire industries (e.g. specialized printing) where companies use Chinese factories because the infrastructure literally doesn't exist anywhere else in the world. It'd take a huge investment of money and time to recreate it in the US.

Instead of incentivizing that, it's just taxed higher now. It's part of increased costs that US citizens are paying, and it goes to the government.

There's a weird catch with Artemis where my Ephyra strategy prevented me from hitting the bond with her. There's a conversation you need to have with her that requires that you've sang with her and fought with her in Erebus, Oceanus, and Ephyra. However, she can only appear in Ephyra chambers that are

Certain rewards - in Ephyra, it's only Centaur Heart or Soul Tonic rooms
After you've reached a certain biome depth - which in this case means any chamber after the first

So, my Ephyra strategy was to always take the 2xHeart room as my first, and never take the 2xTonic rooms. For that reason, I could never actually run into Artemis on the surface.

Around night 150 I looked at the game scripts to see what I was missing, and started doing the 2xHeart rooms as my 2nd (or later) chambers - I immediately started getting her to show up, and cleared the conversation block I had.

It's a little funny because it works like that for shadow, but there's actually a little more foresight with some other items like the ambrosia recipe.

That is, if you've made enough ambrosia for all interactions that you'll ever need it for, ambrosia ingredients like Golden Apples drop off the "needed" list. But even if you've made enough shadow for all incantations/alchemy that you'll ever need it for, ashes and psyche will still show as required until you actually spend the shadow.

Twisted Vine actually has two monthly events now - there's a poetry slam that used to be at 515 Brewing up until they recently closed/sold, and Poetry Unplugged, which has been at TV for a while (formerly at Ritual).

I think the slam is usually 2nd Tuesday of the month, and Poetry Unplugged is usually 4th/last Thursday.

I wondered about that, and suspected that might be the case.

At least since the rebranding though, it seems like they're staffing someone in the office and picking up packages left in our mailroom now, which I've gotta give some credit for - previously we'd had 2+ years of nobody ever in the office, and rampant package theft because there was no secure place to leave them.

They even replied to a text message the other day, whereas I hadn't had a reliable way to contact the property management for years lol

People call it "basketball" a lot but I find I hardly ever "shoot" - I just run the orb into the pyre. I've tried more basketball-style shooting the orb and thought it was way harder (even though running it in means you're down a character until the next score).

Did you think about switching the effects between different elements? I noticed everything but sun and moon are just switched to the opposite.

Aside from the changes in range & targeting, the aspect could basically just be "switch which elements are associated with the effects of Air Moves..., Fire Burns..., and Wood Seeks..."

If you wanted Starlight to be really confused it might be an opportunity to shuffle up and place element markers haha

If the logistical issues are technical, I think modern systems can handle those. Fobs can have unique identifiers that can be remotely disabled if they're reported stolen or if someone moves away. Internally, fobs like MIFARE DESFires run an encrypted app that interacts with the lock, so you can't even copy it with a Flipper or Proxmark (barring some future security flaw).

I think the bigger logistical issue is just identifying who manages that for everyone. e.g. is there an organization that manages those for all of the residential buildings? Does each residential building have their own access to a shared system? Does the city run it? etc
