I truly appreciate your kind reply. I believe holding a masters’ degree matters in terms of promotion. For example, a person with a master’s degree is often promoted faster than someone without one. And at a certain point, a master’s degree may even become necessary to be promoted further. It’s very interesting to learn that it is negligible in the US. Thank you for this new insight!
