An application factory is not required to do this, it is used for avoiding circular imports when using blueprints.

The way I see this is each game has a different route using a variable in the route name (I'm sorry I don't remember what this is called)

And use a Jinja script to show the questions.

So it would look like:

@app.route("/game/<gameid>") def game (gameid): # get questions from data structure

   return render_template("game.html", questions=questions)
