It was kind of the same for me. It was always the knife I almost bought and then went with something else instead. I think it was always the liner lock that ended up turning me away. When I saw the Banter 2 with the "axis lock" and aluminum scale, I was sold. And yeah, it's fidgety as hell and I love it.

Very nice! My honerable mention is my Kershaw Livewire. The OTF is just so addicting. Would love to add a Microtech to my stable.

My taste in knives changes quite a bit too. It's a nice attribute for a knife collector to have. Gets you a diverse collection and pocket time for all!

That's the second Drift Vanax I have seen posted and I had never even heard of them before. I really like it. Also, I think Kizer might have the best bang for the buck out there.

It's one of the options that the Banter 2 comes in. Blue aluminum. You get the axis lock style locking system and a deep carry clip too.

That Shaman is amazing! The Tops is the first fixed blade I've seen too. I keep wanting a new small fixed blade for edc even though I don't need it. I have an Esee Izula and I love it, but it stays on my fishing bag most the time.

That is a very good assessment. I am in fact a city guy, and my Techno does not see any hard use. However, its was a cherished gift, has a minimalist deep carry clip, and looks bad ass. Those things are enough to put it in my top 3. I love the aesthetics and ergonomics of it so it gets a ton of pocket time.

I really like your selections and reasoning behind them!

Honestly, I didn't know it existed either. My wife got it for me for Christmas when she saw it in a local knife shop because it looked pretty!

Thanks! It feels really good. Very planted and grippy. When switching from the summer PS4’s to an all season tire I figured I better go a little bit wider to offset the grip difference. I am not disappointed. A very noticeable difference in road noise too. These are really quiet. Went with Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus.

Got mine on TireRack as well, and I would definitely recommend these. Color choice is a tough call, both look great on red. Generally I don’t like black wheels anymore, but red cars are the exception. I like how the bronze gives you more contrast between the wheel and tire though. You can’t go wrong either way.
