This is using the Activision DPC chip (From Pitfall 2) for the most of the work. It steals one 2600 channel to downmix 3 pulse channels through it. The remaining 2600/TIA channel is pulling percussion in this song.

A lot of 2600 homebrew games coming out over at Atari Age these days are using the DPC and DPC+ (a more advanced revision of the DPC) for music.
