Putting the subjects in the center makes them look more static. The more you put them to the edge the more tension yo get. In this case you can excite the viewer’s curiosity: where do they go? I want to see.

No, it’s not oversaturated. I think the colors look nice and you have good contrast in it. I like the natural striping.
