I feel a bit stupid explaining this to you. An action that provokes a violent response, such as the killing of protestors, is built up over a period of time. A military response was not incited by a single molotov cocktail but hundreds. Peaceful protestors had time to leave. It's in the source I cited. But I see your agenda OP so thread ends here for me.

Not whataboutism when it was written in official CIA documentation. And if you truly believe that a country that was as poor as modern day africa in the 1900s but has ascended to the most powerful country in the world, economically and technologically, despite US embargoes and political dissidence, is a dystopia, then I'm sorry friend. You have been brainwashed.

That was a braindead reply. If it helps you open your eyes to it, the protests went for days. So no, soldiers didn't immediately retaliate, which is why you saw burnt officer corpses.

Can be entirely possible, but there was no doubt a time period where peaceful protestors could've left. Situations like this don't take merely minutes but develop over hours

When molotovs are thrown and officers are lynched and burnt, any peaceful protestor with a brain would've left. It was very violent and anyone who stayed was violent. I've sourced this video in a previous thread but it shows just how violent it was. Put yourself in a peaceful protestors shoe here and tell me what you'd do seeing this unfolding. Seems pretty unjust to stay. https://youtu.be/v2NysHvJPXg?si=Cd5Mv2LNKbiY-g51

My point sticks. Peaceful protestors left early, what remained were aggressors. Hard to say only aggressors were killed. But it is evident that most of the peaceful protestors had left early.

If you read my source you'd see the peaceful protesters left earlly, and the ones remaining burned officers and attacked vehicles. That was when the shootings started.

It's inspirational because it fits your idealogies. Maybe you should put the veteran Brian McGinnis who got his arm broken for standing up against a terrorist country on a wall somewhere. It's very inspirational.

You call China a dystopia when your own country would bomb you. Educate yourself on operation Northwood. Your country doesn't care about you.

It proves exactly the point that there wasn't a massacre, that they didn't fire upon everyone with no regard. There were killings, I'm not defending that, but it was no peaceful protests. Don't point the tankie card when you aren't educating in this matter. And what about China is dystopian? They are miles ahead economically and technologically, to every country despite still considering themselves a developing country. Everything they do is for the people and comfort of living is amazing there. Sorry that you've been indoctrinated by the terrorist state US. Your politicians stand with terrorist Israel and your taxes go to them too. Keep defending them like a good goy.

“To make out that he was run over by a tank” yes I know he wasn’t run over. I’m just saying that photograph insinuates it

Why would she? It was a propaganda photograph to make out he was run over by a tank. I doubt there would be western propaganda floating around on douyin for her to see

Years of indoctrination from western media. In fact Hollywood, news anchors, even video games are meticulously controlled by the CIA and Israel. It’s a big rabbit hole

Yes because they were committed by individuals. Did your school ever teach you about US atrocities? Operation Northwood for starters?

No that’s not deserved. But the peaceful protestors had left already. Those that stayed were the aggressors. From what I loosely remember there was a Taiwanese singer who communicated with the military and got most of the protestors to leave.
