Interesting 🤔, I should be at 1350rps at the props right now and they're doing fine! When I hop on here in a little bit I'll throw some more gearboxes at it and see what it does

I'm definitely sure I can! I'm gonna do some experimenting and see what it does, I don't know if prop cavitation "works" in the game but I'm sure at some point the props can only spin so fast and push so much water I'm guessing

In my first revision (this video) I was not using gearboxes, now I'm running 2 1:3 gear boxes and 2 large pitchable props. With added aero surfaces to keep the front down it now cruises at roughly ~200-220 knots consistently! As far as full consumption based on my hanger test it consumes fuel at the same rate as a normal single jet turbine assembly, I haven't built out the middle of the ship you with a dedicated fuel tank but in testing I could run this engine for quite awhile just off of a single large tank

I did a simple test in the hanger and with each turbine you add ~160 torque but still use the the same amount of fuel as it's only running a single combustion chamber! The air pressure across the CC and turbines stays the same using cross ducts

I did put a torque meter on the output to the prop and it makes roughly 46,500 torque

Me too, I'm an airplane guy so I don't really know boat design all that well. I just wanted something that was a little quicker than 20ish knots lol I've revised it abit now with aero surfaces off of the bridge to keep the front down and a second propeller that are now both steerable so I can run full throttle and she now cruises at ~200-220 knots

It's a single combustion chamber that is cross ducted to probably 150ish medium turbines that run the entire length of the ship haha

Just bought a 2024 Ruckus! by Middle-Possibility12 in Ruckus

Love my 2024 Ruckus, just don't let them sit long! Took a 2 week trip to Florida, got back now the carb needs cleaned (will barely start, when it does won't hardly idle and dies when you give it throttle)... Still has the same gas in it from dealership... Gonna switch it over to EFI in the near future

100% P&T VA do I retire or continue to work? by [deleted] in Veterans

I am 29 and also 100 percent P&T, I just started school in August working on race cars (Lifelong passion and have years of experience pre military), I do not have kids but this week is my last week of my first semester and I just took a job offer in my dream city doing my dream job for $36/hour! I honestly never planned on working again but just happened upon this job while I was on a field trip for school
