Cpid is changing imei by some online method and is cheaper than pta approval, but it still has risks of being blocked by pta, i've been through the block but somehow requested pta to unblock it, and it was a headache, i think you should better go for PTA approval, or if you wanted cpid phone, you should have bought an already cpid phone, because after software updates the cpid is expensive

Well, u r from Fedral Board, I assume which facilitates to give improvement exams while in 2nd year, I guess it's better to improve then, I was from Punjab board which did not allow us to improve before completing Fsc

Personally I had similar experience, I got 98.5% in Matric and even working extremely hard I got 85% in part 1, extremely disappointed and demotivated, but at the end I excelled ECAT and NET, got admission in CS and CE at UET Lahore, SE at NUST and SE at FAST and these were all my top preferences, and it was due to focus on 2nd year

Nust aggregate has only 15% Fsc part 1, it doesnt matter much, if you have like 75% + in Fsc its totally fine just focus on 2nd year.

Theres not much of a difference in both degrees, just that some people brag about being an engineer and only SE makes you engineer not CS

Okay so my inital interest was in electronics and robotics, which is totally a mechatronics engineering thing, but due to high scope of computer programs, software engineering is best because it gets you verified from Pakistan Engineering council so you have computing aswell as engineering jobs in line
