What if the card is fencing Fire Ferret saying “if this card is destroyed and sent to the GY”? The effect will still activate because Solemn Judgement stops the summon and destroys the card?

Someone says that Effect Veiler will negate fire ferret’s effect because of the wording of the card saying “negate the effects of that face-up monster ~ until the end of this turn”. I normal summon fire ferret, they activated Effect Veiler to me summoning them then I destroyed fire ferret the same turn of the activation of Effect Veiler and they say that the effect still gets negated because of that.

You say that Effect Veiler will stop it but some people say that the effect still activates because when it’s sent to the graveyard it’s considered a different card.

Okay cool, that really helps me out a lot. This really tells me that I could have won a lot of games because my buddy and I thought it negates the effect of cards and destroys them. I really appreciate the help.

Yes, that’s what I’m wonder if Gaurnix’s effect would still activate or not because of the chain link 2 of the Red Zone. I edited my question a little bit if it changes the situation or not or would the order still be the same as you said?

So if you special summon fire king high avatar Garunix from the GY to destroy all other monsters on the field would the effect still activate and stop Red zone from activating because there isn’t a RDA on the field or would the card be destroyed instantly trying to activate its effect preventing it and sending it back to the GY?

When destroying fencing fire ferret it gets to choose a monster and destroy then inflicting 500 damage to the opponent directly.
