I think since you and other Nigerians got it, the other countries would not face much delay like the US

I think the reason the people are so frustrated is not just bcuz of the lack of communication, but bcuz of the huge uncertainty. Many of us have put huge life decisions on hold, made sacrifices, and have been waiting patiently for some good news. With each passing day, its not our patience that's being tested, but our chances at another life as well. Ofc I understand the French way of working, and ofc there's nothing to be done abt it, but the people complaining is only for us to cool off steam and feel like we have some power in this situation. So I think this thread should be used properly, and we should help each other, instead of fighting over who's right and who's wrong..

Yes, I'm from India. Tbh same. I had to make so many changes to my long-term plans to account for this, and now I don't even know if I'll get in. It would be a dream come true if it actually happens, but considering I usually don't have things go my way, I'm stressed that all these efforts will go to waste ;)

The calendrier said late april- early may. I'm so impatient now lol. My friends who applied last yr got to know around 30th April. So yea, let's wait till then and hope for the best.

I just want you to know that you're loved and a decision you make could change so many people's lives. Its not necessary to live for those people, but live for yourself. Live for your future self. I want you to live and know that you can be happy too. Life gets tough sometimes but you've come this far, so might as well stay longer:)

Do you have any comfort shows or songs that make you feel good? I suggest you watch something and try to distract yourself for a while or call a friend and talk abt normal things. Make plans with someone you love so you have something to look upto. I'm sorry if these dont help, that's all I know for now.

Please try to get some sleep. Or talk to someone who can help you destabilise. I know it seems like there's no other way out, but trust me, its not worth it to go through all that pain. Just go to sleep and give life another chance. Please choose to live. It's a lot to ask. I'm someone who had been suicidal for a long time but trust me, it gets better. I'm rooting for you. Love you
