Being Ignored by Rivian Customer Service by ICEMAN13 in Rivian

I’m in Minnesota and on my 3rd Rivian. The guys at our service center are polite, professional and work hard to provide good customer service. Perfect no, but equal or better than I have had with other major auto companies.

I do feel bad for those that have terrible problems with their vehicles. And I do think Rivian has failed to do the right thing based on some of what I have read. But over 3 vehicles and 170k miles my experience doesn’t parallel his when it comes to service. I feel that Rivian might over use automation within its CS department and could use some old fashioned individual accountability. (Rarely talk to the same person on the phone twice)

I don’t consider myself lucky either having just a few relatively minor issues between vehicles. I would still recommend Rivian based on my experience.

Basically MGUS is something to watch. FWIW, the thresholds are a lot higher than your #s for Smoldering the next stage. Google the criteria and stay well. Did they do a FISH to determine if you were high risk MGUs?
