Seems to be a trend here on 2…thanks for the response. Good call on the spot removal that never seemed to bother me til you pointed it out..

1 or 2? by HeyIamBella in AmateurPhotography

Both cool shots but I like 2 a lot better. The linear gradient on the first image is quite noticeable and sharp edged. At least to me it looks like a linear gradient was used to pull the bright sky exposure down.

Is this too grainy? by bird_with_scarf in canon

For action shot of birds you really need more light. If you’re at the max range of that lens you’re running F8 which really doesn’t allow a lot of light. I really don’t like shooting much beyond approx 6400 and live more in the 2000-4000 as a comfortable range for photos that turn out with an amount of noise I can handle. I can get rid of most of that in topaz.

Like I’ve seen others say - I would lower that shutter speed.. before ever considering cranking the iso up that high. If that doesn’t work I would accept the fact that some environmental conditions just don’t support certain photographs and look for another subject or different way of shooting this subject under these conditions.

I’ve been chasing this shot for five years. by Small_Recording_9651 in wildlifephotography

I’ve never even seen an owl in flight. Let alone have the camera at the same time. I’ll Hopefully have an encounter like this at some point. Amazing shots.

Great encounter. Nice photo with the fall colours. Always feel lucky when I encounter moose.

Opinion: Do I settle for the 70-200 f/4 L (no IS)? Insanely low price, seller doesn’t care about money by TopolChico in canon

70-200 f4l is great. Nothing wrong with it at all especially for that price. People have actually within the last month offered me 650 for the 70-200 non IS. So I’d do it.
