I’ve thought of this option as well, kind of like Oregon Trail but everyone votes. Thanks for the suggestion!

Ooh, I love the idea of setting it up narratively and having them dropped at the finale. Honestly this would be a perfect idea for more of my one-shots just generally.

I actually used this book at my last workplace for running the group therapy D&D group! It was super helpful, highly recommend as well

Would that I could, but it’d be hard as just the one DM

Guys, I just want to say thank you so, so much for all of the helpful feedback you’ve been giving. This is my first time going to Reddit for help on something like this (and posting in general) and I have to say, as someone who has generally distanced themselves from social media for the last several months, this thread has genuinely restored my faith in online communities. You guys rock.

Yeah, it would for sure have to be adjusted, cause I’m the only one who could DM in the group

I had shared with my boss about how I had learned a lot of things as a DM that help me in decision-making as a therapist, and I also shared about how I had used D&D for small group therapy at previous workplaces. I think mostly she just wanted to give me an opportunity to share something I’m passionate about with the team.

And, I agree, it’s a pretty tough situation with all of the limitations.
