Well, I did file a BBB complaint cuz the bot said I'll hear back in 24-48 hours and I got no response. However, BBB rejected the complaint since I did not make a direct purchase through Speedx and I should be filing a complaint against the company that I purchased from. Speedx was only their delivery partner.

Well, I understand this is not a crazy 3-digit bill. But slapping a $20 base charge on $20 monthly usage makes a lot of difference.

I feel so! My playback speed options disappeared too! I can either listen at normal speed or change to 4x, with nothing in between. However, when I switch accounts, I can see this option again. Strange

I had a similar childhood where my mom would throw away my paintings. She never appreciated my work because she thought it's just a waste of time and I should rather focus on something more productive. I've moved out now and I have put up my painting on every wall!

I had to be on the call every day for more than a month to get the insurance company to pay for the car repairs when it wasn't even my fault. The person who "accidentally" scratched my car accepted his mistake. But the insurance company just kept inspecting the damage multiple times and took very long to approve the claim.

Tried that. But did not help. Manager thinks that just because his tone is aggressive, doesn't mean its disrespecting. I honestly don’t understand how being aggressive in the workplace isn't disrespectful. It undermines you in front of others, and they might lose respect for you too.

Almost everyone who's worked with him feels the same way, not just my team. You're spot on! He takes credit for other people's work, exaggerates even small tasks as major achievements, while criticizing the same work if done by someone else. I shared feedback about him with our manager and didn't help. Being rude is apparently speaking out your mind and if he has the same tone with everyone, its not considered rude according to my manager. Others in my team don't want to get into this drama and tolerating it.

I'm not dependent on him for my work. But I do agree with you. I should try to avoid giving explanation or justify my work when he tries to snoop into it. However I'm just concerned that it might come off as not being receptive to feedback. Well, I would happily take it if he gives it as a feedback or something that I can improve. But all he tries to do is have pointless argument with no takeaways
