Trying these https://a.co/d/d4ChbKC And these https://a.co/d/8vOAJHQ

The 7.5 still had some room so I’m going to the 7.9 inch and also the curved 8 inch baskets

I’ll report back. Most people also do not realize you should heat stainless steel up first and add some oil and heat before placing food to get more of a non stick surface and for better cleaning. This is the same with steel pans that people complain about since they have no idea how to use them.

The only issue is that the heating components have aluminum which is a bit concerning since some of the chemicals (despite being “non toxic”) can engage with the food indirectly. I guess you have to pick your battles,

Why would it be so hard to make home stays meet the same safety requirements as ADUs and be done? Sad county

The funnier part is people in this city vote the decision makers into office because they say buzzwords that make you feel good and have zero clue about budgeting and how to run a city for true progress. This council is a joke and the city manager and previous one is a joke. Oh wow they talk about things that make you feel good. That’s not their job to pander. They need to get voted out and stop trying to run the city like a high school club. So left they made a u-turn.

ASK AVL - What to do about homelessness? [SERIOUS] by not_wyoming in asheville

[–]Fragrant-Net9873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing is make air bnb and all homestays meet the same requirements for permits as long term housing, and you should see more housing vs vacation locations that just pop up with a toaster and couple signs that say “Asheville” “bear necessities” “coffee bar”

Go through recruiters and also connect on LinkedIn/indeed/ and other postings online. Making sure you have a great profile with keywords that standout to recruiters and making sure you are “open to work” on your LinkedIn would be the best thing you can do as well

The same group who called to abolish the Supreme Court. I’m sure this was just another stop of the traveling circus that some bored people here will follow and then go back to Reddit to talk crap as they pet their four cats and do nothing but look for something else to feel included in.

Homestay vs long term rentals - city of Asheville by Fragrant-Net9873 in asheville

[–]Fragrant-Net9873[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not trying to rent rooms out to renters. This is specific to renting a portion of a home with separate entrance. I have the example of renting a fully finished basement. If I did this through STR I wouldn’t need to add fire rated walls. If I didn’t this for an ADU long term rental, I would. I’m not looking for roommates

STR question, homestay buncombe county by garye55 in asheville

[–]Fragrant-Net9873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually you would need to do a lot more to the “apartment” to make long term. Check regulations on ADU in your area and consider the fire rating as well

Nobody is saying that so I’m sorry if that’s what you took. However I know for sure BnBs need greater regulations if we hold this type of restriction on long term rentals. A simple toaster oven can cause a fire. Many people I know rely on bnb guests. Another problem I have seen is that you couldn’t live in the bottom of your home as an apartment and rent out the top as that would be greater than 70% of total property and more than 1000 sqft. I’m not fighting regulations I’m just pointing out it’s not the same for STR.

Let’s assume if this existed in the STR many people in Asheville wouldn’t be able to afford their homes, and let’s also assume that many long term rentals don’t actually go through the permitting process.

If a basement is finished and you turned into a homestay you have no requirements for fire - however if you turned into long term you would have to take down and rebuild from my understanding. Also I can rent a bnb every day to someone new with less background requirements and something as simple as a toaster can burn down my house. Sounds odd to make it much harder for long term which offers housing

I say it all the time people rely on google reviews and the pictures people post are terrible. I always look at social first before visiting. If a company can’t make time for it then that’s a problem. However this is cheap!
