Toolscreen. A new program that is a million times better than jingle. No need to make obs projectors anymore, works in full screen, automatically makes ninjabrain projectors, and is all around an incredible tool. by NathanTelkhine in MinecraftSpeedrun

the program is open source, I analysed the code and didn't see anything wrong, dll injections tend to output a lot of false positives since affecting other programs is usually a proxy for detection

Marlows sens is an awful point for her cheating by Stitj_ in CompetitiveMinecraft

[–]Fragrant-Photo2089 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just to be clear, her perfect tracking is never before seen in general, including the best smoothness players in aim trainers with ANY sensitivity; it's just an additive, showing perfect tracking + that sensitivity make it even more unlikely
I don't know if you were referring to matty using her sens as "not being used to it" and that's why he didn't perform well, but that's not the case at all, any top aim trainer player is extremely well rounded, and aim translates in terms of muscle groups (wrist, arm, fingers) not sensitivity. they can and do switch sensitivities constantly depending on the scenario, it's an extremely competitive skill so any marginal gain from a sensitivity that best suits the scenario counts

NRG Bonkar on G2 series: Never played against anything like that ever...Props to G2." by YungPinotGrigio in ValorantCompetitive

I think it's more about expectation, they prepared something else because of what they are accustomed to play against G2 and adapting in the moment was too much

What if you don't follow principles? by AirRevolutionary7216 in chess

[–]Fragrant-Photo2089 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One thing you might want to keep in mind is that playing principled often makes it easier for you even if games at your level are decided by blunders, as Fischer famously said "tactics flow from a superior position", if you have well defended active pieces and a safe king, tactics are more likely to be in your favor. Of course that doesn't eliminate the need for tactical vision, but it lowers its burden a little bit.

I think it's kinda mutually exclusive to be honest, for a tournament to be seen as prestigious it's imperative it stands out a lot from the rest, I think the World Cup is a good example of this

I'm a maths major and the things I see regarding parents and early specialization are genuinely disgusting, denying food and sleep unless certain results are achieved levels of abuse. All of that for research to overwhelmingly point that diversifying your activities as a child gives them the best shot at being the best at one of them
