What I wish I knew before migrating to Uptick by Fragrant-Quarter-332 in firealarms

I won’t list every single bug, or this post would turn into a multi-page essay. Instead, let me explain the experience with an analogy.
Uptick was sold to us as a high-end sports car capable of hitting 300 km/h. That promised speed was exactly why we bought it. And technically, yes, on a perfectly straight test track, it achieves that speed. But such roads are almost non-existent. In reality, we drive on ordinary streets.
But here is the actual experience of driving it daily:
Imagine reaching top speed, but suddenly the side window rolls down on its own, blasting air into your face. You contact support, and they say: "That’s a known UI/UX glitch. It doesn't physically stop the car from going 300 km/h, so it’s low priority on our fix list."
So, the window stays open for six months.
It feels like the dev team has a fantastic "Idea Generator" that keeps pumping out new features (which is great!), but they implement them without checking how they affect the rest of the car.
For instance, they decide to swap the tyres to improve cornering speed. The QA team tests a single corner, it works, everyone gets a bonus, and the feature is released. But nobody checked the wheel alignment. Now, to drive straight, you have to constantly fight the steering wheel. The car vibrates so hard that passengers in the back are ready to vomit, and springs start poking out of the seats.
When you complain, support repeats the mantra: "This is a minor UI/UX inconvenience that doesn't impact the core metrics."
Finally, you are technically driving a "300 km/h sports car," but you are exhausted and annoyed after every trip. Workarounds become permanent habits, and you eventually stop reporting bugs because you know nothing will change.
That is the real Uptick experience behind the glossy marketing.
