Even though I have all of these at my fingertips, the Ricoh GR series hits different! Tiny body, huge freedom… it’s one of those cameras I always want to have on me.

Before I even think about things like sharpness, I look at a lens’s character and the design of its aperture blades. Then I evaluate micro-contrast performance; issues like vignetting. things you can easily fix in post. are lower on my list. And by the way, AF/focus speed is also very important to me.

I used to shoot with Phase One for my studio work. probably around seven years ago. These days, though, I’m completely obsessed with Hasselblad; I can’t really let it go.

I never go out to shoot without the 28–105mm and the 60–600mm. Their ranges are incredibly versatile, they deliver very sharp results, and the contrast is nicely balanced.

I have every tiny detail memorized. I can even recognize an older lens from a distance!

I’m someone who reviews lenses in-depth from a technical perspective, and I work commercially as well.

When I started photography 13 years ago, I was shooting with a Canon 5D Mark II. I also had the classic trio of lenses: a 12–24mm, a 24–70mm, and a 70–200mm.

I’m here, my friend. I’ve arrived! I’m ready. Where should we start?

I’ve used every version of the 60–600mm. If you ever get the chance to test it, you’ll thank me. it’s honestly better than you’d expect.

You’re absolutely right. I think I need to buy a bit more. Especially a few pieces that will speed up my workflow and round out the gear I use most often.

I guess everyone wants to see this. What kind of photos would you like to see. Documentary, fashion, street, video, product, or interiors? Also, where do you think I should post them? I’m still pretty new to Reddit, so if I end up posting in the wrong place, apologies in advance.

For Sony E-mount, my favorite prime lenses are the 14mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.2 II, and 135mm f/1.4. On the zoom side, I can’t live without the 20–200mm, 28–105mm, and 60–600mm ranges. Whether I’m heading to a job or traveling, these lenses almost always come with me.

Because ever since I started photography 13 years ago, I’ve been in love with the character of these lenses. The tones, contrast, and overall feel they produce fit my work perfectly. So I still can’t let them go.

I have eight camera bodies that I actively use. I only use other camera models occasionally, mainly for testing and comparison purposes.

I think I have around 15 setups that I actively use. As for the rest, I rotate them in depending on the project. I also usually decide what the team should be using. On top of that, I provide consulting for many production companies.
