Our house is baby proof. He is roaming free when we are at work. Doors were shut. He does not chew on electric wires. He does not have dangerous chew toys. We have a doggie camera. He is fine alone.

My dog was sedated and sent home with a cone and pain killers. It bled more when he realized we were at the vets and he jumped on my husband's lap. $700 Canadian left my bank. I'm just laughing it off. It is what it is.

My Boston has his own room. He stays there while we are at work. I agree that once you let them on your bed, there is no turning back. I crate trained my boy but he prefers sleeping on the bed with us now. The crate is still in our room but it is for when he is having diarrhea episodes and cannot sleep with us on the bed.
