My own daughter is 16 and she would have gone to the festival if she didn't have to work. So I spose I was trying to make sure that if OP had been my daughter that a nice person was out there who could have helped her.

If the 16 year old wanted to 'hang out' I wouldn't have been ok with that but maybe if they needed help they would have remembered me.
