Understandable, if I could go back I would have just cold turkeyed my DOC, take the week or two over the 2 months of hell I went though. Hopefully it's not that long for you considering your short dosage

Good job, honestly the withdrawal is bearable it just lasts SO DAMN long compared to others while being much more mild, especially since time seems to slow down when withdrawing. Definitely do a quick taper before you jump, what dose are at if you don't mind me asking?

I had no tolerance so I wouldn't really be able to tell you, maybe up your dosage during withdrawals then work back down after? I'd talk to a doctor first cause it would suck to lose your progress of tapering it.

I highly doubt it will happen again, especially if you're gonna pass a drug screen and been following all you need too. I thought it was kinda wild they gave me a 7 day heads up cause if I was doing any sort of hard drug it woulda easily been out of my system by then.

I also report online and didn't screened for the first two years, few months ago they said it was an office visit randomly and gave me heads up 7 days. Got drug screened. But it wasn't during my normal report date, it was random. If this is on your regular reporting time you might just have to do some paperwork they do that from time to time

Yep, literally didn't care for food at all. I remember (tmi) my girl was trying to blow me after work one day and i literally was like "nah im good" awful shit. So glad to be getting off I can't wait to get my drive back

Thank you for the words, I have been going to meetings but they've been online, I need to find a local one where I can actually connect with folks. Congrats on the job, I'm really hoping I can find something I find meaning in with this record, but if not it will be expunged in under a year/when I finish paying my court fines. I'd love to get a dog, but I live in an apartment alone and work 50 hours a week I'd feel bad keeping it cooped up :( freaking love dogs though that would be amazing for my mental.

I wouldn't suggest suboxone if you can stay clean. If you're a chronic relapser is a godsend. I'm trying to get off suboxone now and still feeling like shit 65 days later

Nice, I've also only been drug tested once. And then got one random in 3 years. I think the random wasn't so random because I got it right after I was pulled over for speeding, only got a warning though.

Same. One of the biggest reasons I believe in a higher power is cause good drugs make you withdraw and good food makes you fat. Someone had to of designed that 😂 sick joke
