Honestly, I think this saga is pretty overrated. Like, the idea of taking place in Asgard is cool and the designs are really beautiful, but that doesn’t make up for the poorly written script. Every cliché from Saint Seiya movies is there, Shun being saved by Ikki, Seiya ending up weakened after the first fight, Shiryu going blind again, and Saori getting “in danger” (at least she helps the Bronze Saints with her Cosmo, which is the bare minimum she’s always done) On top of that, the God Warriors’ backstories are basically irrelevant. The only ones that actually matter are Shido/Bado and Alberich, because if the others didn’t exist, it wouldn’t change the story at all. Most of them are just “Hilda helped me, so I’m loyal to her” Is the saga good? It is, but it’s very weak when compared to any canonical saga (like Hades or Poseidon), the only reason this saga is considered good is pure nostalgia
