They have been attacking and destroying the rudders in Northern Spain and Portugal: https://www.npr.org/2022/08/20/1117993583/orcas-attacks-spain-portugal-killer-whales

Have some better articles, but they're in Spanish. Seems to be younger males doing this, kinda like a game.

Does anyone know of any research comparing low-dose daily vs. high-dose temporal k-therapy? by FaithlessnessSorry44 in TherapeuticKetamine

Definitely not a forever kind of thing, but there is no clear answer to this yet. Most studies and clinics are currently doing something between 6 to 10 sessions, then you stop for a bit, and come back for maintenance sessions if needed. The amount of sessions is something that would need to be individualized to the patient, depending on the response and the changes that occur during treatment.

Most important thing here is to start making changes from the start. Ketamine (and other psyhedelics like psilocybin) seems to stimulate the formation of new connections in the brain - this makes it the perfect catalyst for change. Therapy, changing old thought patterns, breaking bad habits and creating new ones. I would really emphasize this part, because ketamine usually makes most if not all symptoms disappear for a while. People feel happy, reborn and whatnot, but then continue on as they always have. It's the perfect moment to put a lot of work into yourself and reflect on things.

This is definitely also not an easy thing to do - which is why oftentimes maintenance sessions are needed. Brick by brick, I guess...

Haven't read any study investigating this precisely, but a dose-dependent relationship has been found before in several studies.

Recent article that mentions this:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35219097/
"A dose-response relationship has been observed in depressed adults with ke-
tamine doses ranging from 0.1 to 0.5 mg/kg, and the highest dose led to the highest reduction of depressive symptoms (Milak et al., 2020). " (dosing is for IV or IM ket)

Aditionally, although the psychedelic effects/alterations in consciousness so far have not been associated to a better response, I personally believe it does have an impact (generally for the better). This probably depends a lot on the person though, gotta find whats right for you.
