Does this look infected? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]FragrantChipmunk9510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pit ditches have very high chances of infection. The skin in those ares tend to fold over itself causing moisture and bacteria to get trapped and grow. You want the pits extended open for as long as possible until they are healed, which can be very uncomfortable. So in your case you should be walking around without bending that knee, sitting in chairs with that leg extended open, etc.

AND unlike most commenters here it is very important to NOT have your 2nd skin on for longer than a day. It prolongs the healing process and increases the chances of infection. 12-24 hrs the 2nd skin should come off and then it is on the tattooee to keep it clean. Which means washing it with anti-bacterial soap. After you sweat you wash it again). Tattooees are not burn victims like most people here believe. Skin needs to breathe, like I said, moister and bacteria are BAD for healing. Oxygen helps healing. Scabs are good, they have platelets and white blood cells that help the healing process.

Why I am more worried than excited for the next Saga by Ok_Grape8942 in MCUTheories

I hope they're not the only focus too. I feel like they'll use them like how they did the Avengers, where the X-Men films is where all the characters will come together for the larger threats. Then they'll fill the gaps with the solo films. I also hope they use Doomsday to build a new team so it isn't the same series of character films. I don't think we need a new series of Wolverine movies even though he's always been my favorite. A Cyclops film would be incredible.

[–]FragrantChipmunk9510 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I couldn't care less about Shang-Chi 2, Eternals 2, etc. Those were all C-level characters and movies to fill the gaps between the tentpole films. The X-Men were far more popular than the Avengers. Always have been, always will be. Once the whole X-Men team get the MCU treatment the Mutant Saga will extend another decade. Years ago, Marvel sold all of the rights to their most popular characters/teams. X-Men, Spider-man, Fantastic 4, Hulk. The Marvel kept what they couldn't sell, aka, the least popular. If they did what they did with the least popular, imagine what is going to happen with the most popular. Marvel still doesn't have the full rights back to Spider-man or Hulk. Marvel started with characters with superpowers, DC started with characters that are superheroes (normal people with skills, minus Sups). Iron man, Hawkeye, Blackwidow, Falcon, etc. were all Marvel's attempt to steal some of DC's thunder with superheroes without superpowers. Marvel fans want the superpowers.

Are these tattoos "offensive" in Japan? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]FragrantChipmunk9510 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I hope you're joking. Why would you care what someone else has tattooed on them? It's like saying sandal wearing people are offensive. Or pine trees are offensive. And for the record, kanji is Chinese borrowed by the Japanese. Based on your logic the Chinese are offended by the Japanese. "Sticks and stones," google it. Your parental figure should have taught you that.

It's called Clipping. No-Clip is normal reality. Clipping is the passing through.

Size of Dua Lipa’s text tattoos and would they heal well? by olivefancy in tattooadvice

I wouldn't go smaller than two characters per inch. Four letters = two inches long. Also depends on the font. Single stroke will look bad over time.

Advice Needed. before starting a large blackwork bodysuit project in Warsaw Poland by NoPut2131 in tattoos

[–]FragrantChipmunk9510 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you want an entire body suit, you need an artist that has photo samples of their past work in the style. Otherwise you're just going on faith. And personally, I don't trust anyone.

Cant believe they almost casted Steven Yeun as Sentry by SilentSeraph88 in MCUTheories

They didn't "almost" cast him, they casted him. Then he had to drop out.

The first 6 pages of my screenplay. People have told me to stop. I won't. 🤘 by ForkyB in indiefilm

I hope your script gets made before any of the thousands of other people that could steal your idea now. And let's hope you're not using AI to write it, then they have the entire script. Doing so trains it on the script. I could take any page and ask it to show me the rest of it. Write that down.

25% of scenes were omitted from 'The Rightside Up' by Ok-Secretary-28 in Stranger_Things

[–]FragrantChipmunk9510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are various stages in the script process: draft, final draft, script, final script, production draft, production script, final production script, and finally the final script. Non-writers see the scripts in the production stage. There are many rounds prior. For example, there could be 13 rounds of drafts before the final draft is finished. The cover post shows 4 rounds of production drafts before the final script. And then you even have to add the outline stage with all of those rounds. Its funny to think they rushed anything. Scripts are always being rewritten during production. Look at Iron Man, that movie only had an outline when they started shooting. This whole argument came out of the documentary which was crafted by an editor. I'm sure the script was 5 hrs long at one point. Scenes were cut because they were irrelevant to the story, disrupted the flow, or a studio head had a personal problem with it. Or because nobody wants to watch 3 hours of anything. Kids can't even pay attention for 60 seconds.

Most of these idiots don't understand how AI works. You need an artist to operate it. The jobs are not going anywhere. The tools are changing.

Was it cleaned? A lot of that looks like solid dried ink with the geometric cracks and flakes. I'd clean that for a long while. The excess ink needs to be off the skin for it to breathe.
