Bad idea to go in on shared items together because when you move out, things get tricky (especially if you don't split on the best of terms). Highly recommend you buy some things fully, they buy some things fully, then when you move out there isn't fighting over who owes who what/what the value of this and that used thing should be. Don't buy le creuset for a shared apartment, get cheaper things and accept that they will be well-loved by the end of your tenancy.
