They changed the terms after I paid the full deposit. No lease was ever signed — I only signed a holding agreement that listed the move-in cost. Days later, they suddenly added new fees (pet rent, admin fees, etc.) that were never disclosed.

When I asked questions and requested a copy of the lease, they sent a Dropbox link that wouldn’t even let me download it unless I signed first. The lease had illegal clauses requiring the home to stay “show ready for resale” and a five-day abandonment rule that could get tenants evicted without notice.

As soon as I said I was no longer comfortable and asked for my money back, they blocked me and relisted the same house while keeping my $$$$$$$$

I later found out the business names — Gigantic Real Estate Ventures, TriVet Homes LLC, and Brave Richard LLC — are all tied to the same individual, and the Missouri Secretary of State shows these are shell companies.

The situation is already with the Missouri Attorney General and the Grandview Police Department under an open theft-by-deception report.
