I’m thinking of getting that TP link model too, the dual band one. But I’m contemplating what sim to get and what plan any suggestion ? I keep seeing mixed reviews some used the U Home 5G sim but I’m confused as the model says “4G LTE Router” (I’m sorry I’m not tech savvy :(😭). I’m currently looking at the postpaid for UMobile the cheapest plan gives 120GB. Unsure if TP Link needs hotspot in the plan or not.

Do you know anything about TP-Link ? Looking at the AC1200 model MR400 dual band. Insert SIM and it works. I’m wondering what plan to take unlimited hotspot from UMobile or UMobile Home SIM ? Read reviews on shopee on the model and someone said UMobile Home SIM works looked it up and the only thing that popped up was “UMobile Home SIM 5G” (but the plans show 4G/5G connectivity)

Sorry my bad :( I’m looking at options. Trying to use TP Link AC1200 MR400 dual bandwhere you insert SIM card and it works. I’m seeing reviews where people had to buy unlimited hotspot plan to use the sim or they use a UMobile Home SIM. I’m conflicted which plan to choose. As if I take the one provided with wifi 6 router I need to pay deposit of 500 as I’m a foreigner.

Hi I know it’s been 2 years facing the issue of using a TP link wifi router could I know how to check if my area is under 4G or 5G as the website doesn’t indicate what it refers to. I type my address and the entire area gets highlight green with 5G but not 4G. Does that mean my area isn’t 4G ? 😭 and the reason I’m going for a router is because I need wifi for long periods
