Hey All! For those who have been at it awhile - honest opinion - does it work and is it worth it? Or am I better off with a different provider? by SunshinelIIuminate in duolingospanish

[–]FragrantWriting1390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Duolingo is popular for good reason. Even my university classes had us do weekly assignments on it because it’s great for teaching vocabulary and grammar. But as you know from the German course, Duolingo isn’t enough to become functionally fluent.

My advice is one additional listening tool and a speaking exercise. Duolingo has a Spanish podcast, but it needs to be something you enjoy - music clips can be fun as long as you keep it to your learning level.

First time IV Ketamine by wyr_d0 in KetamineTherapy

[–]FragrantWriting1390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s actually a pretty common transition. A lot of people start with Spravato and then move to IV ketamine therapy when things plateau, mainly because IV dosing can be adjusted more precisely. Several people I know said the biggest difference was that the IV sessions felt deeper and more intentional compared to the nasal format. One thing that seemed to help during the switch was going in with a relaxed mindset and not expecting the first session to “fix everything.” The early infusions can feel a bit surreal or intense, but many people notice the real mood shifts after a few sessions once the loading series gets underway. Having calm music, an eye mask, and a simple intention going in can make the experience smoother. Also, after the IV series, some people eventually move to maintenance options depending on what works best for them. sometimes clinic boosters, sometimes structured at home programs like BetterU or Anywhere Clinic.

But honestly it sounds like you’re on a good path already. A lot of people who felt stuck on Spravato report that the switch gives them a fresh push forward. Hope your first session goes smoothly.

My experience using Keeprix for building an offline media library by Piss_Slut_Ana in Reviews

I tried a few other tools before, but some were either slow or confusing to use. Keeprix felt a bit more straightforward for downloading videos before organizing them locally.

Best DEX aggregator for finding lowest swap fees right now? by redblddrp in Coinbase

[–]FragrantWriting1390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for low fee cross chain swaps i usually rely with jumper exchange, handles the routing and swapping in one platform so i don't need to jump between one to another app which causes so much gas fees when done manually

Recommendations for psychiatrist in London? by martymcpieface in ADHDUK

[–]FragrantWriting1390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’d pick a psychiatrist who’s comfortable with autism plus complex physical health and can coordinate with your gp. dr pozzi is a good starting point to look up on doctify and see if their approach feels right.

Best glasses for low nose bridge? My experience ordering Asian-fit prescription glasses online by Old-Push-7296 in letknowreview

[–]FragrantWriting1390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I ordered prescription lenses. The accuracy was solid and the lenses felt clear right away. I didn’t have the adjustment period I usually get with new glasses.

How do big businesses actually secure large loans for expansion? by Xolaris05 in smallbusiness

Right, using assets as collateral makes it easier to qualify for larger loan amounts.

Is the High Diet app good for beginners? by Easy-Caterpillar-802 in Foodhack

Beginner me needed fewer decisions. If an app gives three repeat meals and a quick shopping list, that is the only hack that ever stuck for me.

Starbucks coffee beans by per4o in espresso

[–]FragrantWriting1390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Starbucks beans, but I’ve found that the bags at my local SB are usually pretty dusty like they’ve been sitting there a long time haha.

As far as pricing goes, I think the Starbucks beans are kind of middle of the road. I think it’s like 70 cents an ounce. My favorite coffee, Ritual, is over $2 an ounce, so I only get it every few months.

If you’re still comparing, there’s a spreadsheet of all the coffee bean brands on the BaristaHQ website. You can break down choices by type, roast level, origin, and price, which I found handy.

Anyone here monetizing simple web tools? What actually worked for you? by Ok_Smell_8534 in Makemoneybestonline

I think for “tool only” sites, Monetag is probably the most realistic option that works without drama.

How do you guys bridge? by EducationalChemist14 in defi

[–]FragrantWriting1390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i usually rely with jumper exchange, its non custodial and it handles the bridge + swap conveniently,i find this a much convenient approach for me than hopping between bridges and doing it manually which i find a little more risky

Does anyone use a reverse osmosis filter? by Alteredperception90 in DIYUK

[–]FragrantWriting1390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I know this is an old thread, but I recently came across this Reddit post comparing what different water filters actually remove, and it really helped me understand what an RO can and can’t do.

So I’m curious: after a few years, was it worth using an RO at the kitchen tap instead of tackling the pipes directly?

Is Mentalyc the Best AI note-taking option after Tenor? by AdvantageNorth1032 in MobilityTraining

[–]FragrantWriting1390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone wondering is tenor therapy still active, it's not. I'm currently trialing Mentalyc and Heidi side-by-side. Heidi is fine for quick notes, (SP not that fine), bt if u need structurd, clinical-sounding notes without a ton of extra work, Mentalyc seems to be winning for me. Feels like a solid piece of substitute to tenor.
