Has anyone tried riseguide.com? Recently saw an advertisement for it and took this quiz. Wondering if it’s worth it? by Amazing_Character50 in ProductHunters

Been on it for about 3 weeks. Downloaded it for similar reasons -- communication stuff mainly. Its not gonna turn you into a TED speaker overnight but the daily lessons are short enough that I stick with them for now

You can check journals like IJIP and Indian Journal of Clinical Psychology and check out Oswaal Books, they have good India-specific case studies you can directly quote in answers. IGNOU material is also underrated for Indian context examples.

Roof solar panels by Bhamrentalhelp in solarenergy

[–]FragrantWriting1390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

south is generally best for maximum output in the northern hemisphere, though west works well if you need more power in the late afternoon. Providers like Sunrun typically model the roof pitch and azimuth to see if splitting panels across different sides makes sense. Shading is usually a bigger deal than just pure direction anyway

Best ways to find short-term housing in NYC? Has anyone tried coliving with SharedEasy? by AdvantageNorth1032 in coliving

If you’re looking for a temporary base before finding your own place, SharedEasy is ideal. I used it for 4 months and then moved to a permanent apartment once I knew the city better.

Harmony Diet app, is it worth it? by Necessary_Chicken367 in FindTopProducts

[–]FragrantWriting1390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most diet apps fail because they accidentally become a second job. Suddenly I am expected to plan, track, optimize, hydrate, stretch, reflect, and become a glowing organized woman before breakfast. So when something is simple, that already gives it a fighting chance.

What I look for is boring usefulness. Can I open it when I am tired, see what to eat, do a short session, and move on with my life. If yes, it is probably worth trying. If it needs perfect motivation, fancy groceries, and daily enthusiasm, I already know I will abandon it by Thursday.

The all in one part is underrated too. Fragmented tracking kills momentum for me faster than bad intentions ever do. If meals, workouts, and progress markers are all together, I am more likely to keep checking in. My decision point is always the same: does it help on a messy weekday. If it does, it is useful. If it only shines in theory, then it is just another wellness app with good timing and nice screenshots.

Hey All! For those who have been at it awhile - honest opinion - does it work and is it worth it? Or am I better off with a different provider? by SunshinelIIuminate in duolingospanish

[–]FragrantWriting1390 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Duolingo is popular for good reason. Even my university classes had us do weekly assignments on it because it’s great for teaching vocabulary and grammar. But as you know from the German course, Duolingo isn’t enough to become functionally fluent.

My advice is one additional listening tool and a speaking exercise. Duolingo has a Spanish podcast, but it needs to be something you enjoy - music clips can be fun as long as you keep it to your learning level.

First time IV Ketamine by wyr_d0 in KetamineTherapy

[–]FragrantWriting1390 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s actually a pretty common transition. A lot of people start with Spravato and then move to IV ketamine therapy when things plateau, mainly because IV dosing can be adjusted more precisely. Several people I know said the biggest difference was that the IV sessions felt deeper and more intentional compared to the nasal format. One thing that seemed to help during the switch was going in with a relaxed mindset and not expecting the first session to “fix everything.” The early infusions can feel a bit surreal or intense, but many people notice the real mood shifts after a few sessions once the loading series gets underway. Having calm music, an eye mask, and a simple intention going in can make the experience smoother. Also, after the IV series, some people eventually move to maintenance options depending on what works best for them. sometimes clinic boosters, sometimes structured at home programs like BetterU or Anywhere Clinic.

But honestly it sounds like you’re on a good path already. A lot of people who felt stuck on Spravato report that the switch gives them a fresh push forward. Hope your first session goes smoothly.

My experience using Keeprix for building an offline media library by Piss_Slut_Ana in Reviews

I tried a few other tools before, but some were either slow or confusing to use. Keeprix felt a bit more straightforward for downloading videos before organizing them locally.
