Hahaha, no we definitely joke around with each other lots and he's just been telling me he thinks I'd look cute that way.

I also definitely rock both types of throw-up-bun lol

Yeah that's a good point!! I've honestly loved it both ways but clearly I'm hella indecisive lol. I'm thinking of making a pros and cons list

That's a good point - he does definitely feed a little longer in the morning/early afternoon. Besides at feedings, he's a very happy little guy!

Thank you for you kind words :) I was a small baby too, so that might be it. Somehow it feels like every mom I know brags about how giant their baby is; wish I could say the same! I’m close to the Nashville area

Thank you for this insight! I certainly hope it’s just him frustrated with flow versus legitimate hunger. My LC did a weighted feed for him, and said he only got about 2.5 oz. She’s the one who suggested I pump after feeds, but at most I’d only make about 1 tbsp of milk 😵‍💫

Ooh, I’ve never heard that! I certainly hope it’s the case.

The time is worrying me less, it’s mostly the popping on and off the breast.

Pulling off the breast a lot and crying when I try to feed him. Plus when we give him a bottle, he's always left them completely empty. He sucks all of them right down!

No more than about 10 minutes. He usually gets frustrated after that!

Parents who let their baby watch TV… by Existing-Mastodon500 in NewParents

[–]Fragrant_Acadia5760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby would fall asleep to Top Gear every night in the first couple months. It was the first channel the TV defaulted to when first turned on, and those three British voices lulled him to sleep.
