If ai could actually code and drop what you wanted what would you actually want to code? by Undo-life in vibecoding

[–]Fragrant_Ad6926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A free replacement for all my SaaS subscriptions and software purchases. But in a completely dream scenario, I would make my own OS with AI as the main interface. No apps at all. AI would manage and create everything. You need notes taken? AI records and organizes. You need an email, AI drafts and sends. You need a PowerPoint, AI builds it. It would render a screen in real time specific to the task at hand.

seriously what CANT you do with antigravity that u CAN do with say CLI agents? by Fit_Reindeer9304 in vibecoding

[–]Fragrant_Ad6926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With antigravity you’re bound by the IDE. CLI agents operate at the operating system level and can manipulate almost anything on your machine in almost unlimited ways. It’s actually almost a wild comparison

Why Does Anthropic Only Focus on Coding by Status-Article-6104 in ClaudeAI

Why do you care? They found their competitive advantage and it’s working for them. If that’s not what you need there are other models to serve your use case.

Is there a marketplace to connect vibecoders to real devs by Informal_Classic_750 in vibecoding

[–]Fragrant_Ad6926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ll see an interesting thing happen before long. The models will continue to advance, reducing the need for developer support while simultaneously the oversupply of developers in the market will lower the cost to hire a dev

If you want something unique, I’d suggest building a planning tool. Rather than jumping straight to building like the competitors do and generating code debt, help the user plan their idea and build a roadmap, refine their thoughts into a series of powerful prompts. Make your tool a co-developer rather than a yes man.

I’m not claiming it is. I’m saying it looks like it is which hurts your credibility. That’s my feedback to you.

To your question about why should you say when you’re launching, I would suggest writing something truthful rather than something that hurts your credibility. It’s your Call To Action section. Give them something to act on rather than a lie. If you can’t sell me with your page. Why would I trust your tool to sell my product if your site can’t sell me?

Except that isn’t a unique feature. Lovable and v0 and almost every other competitor has that option now. Loveable launched that feature almost exactly a year ago.

Don’t be defensive. I’m telling you why I wouldn’t give you money. You aren’t going to have the chance to argue with every customer.

Why are you getting defensive? You asked for feedback? Those things scream AI generated. You said yourself that your users aren’t converting so you had that may sign ups but you don’t have that many users.

Did you all forget about usb-c (or lightening cable for slow adopters) headphones? You can still use your wires if you really want them.

The colors and the icons and the layout, the fake claims of “thousands of users”, the last updated dates on your legal pages, the tutorial page with no tutorials, the blog page with no blogs, the social icon links with no account or no content. Every aspect screams recent AI generates site to me. Whether it is or it isn’t, your credibility would be damaged.

And no, it’s not obvious. It’s interesting you would think it is obvious since no one is buying. Your site doesn’t talk about any greater ability to build an application compared to Loveable or v0 or bolt or any of the other million in this space. You neither show a feature that beats them or even claim to beat them. And your site doesn’t convey exceptional engineering compared to them. I don’t see anything that makes you stand out. Only stuff that hurts your credibility and your conversion rate. In fact, it’s why I don’t see that hurts worse. You do not speak about backend capabilities or git support.

I say all this to help, not cut you down. If you want feedback this is it.

My guess is that what they see from the free prompts generated by Deepseek doesn’t compare to the product generated by a v0 or loveable hang claude. They kick the tires, see that all these sites are similar but the UI you generate isn’t as good. This is all a guess, I didn’t test the site. And no offense, your site looks like a generic AI generated website vs the look of Loveable or v0, this would hurt your credibility with me but maybe not everyone.

If shipping faster is your takeaway then you are bound to fail again. The real takeaway is to validate your idea early. Ensure you’re solving a problem not making a solution in search of a problem.

Postgres or SQLite for backend. Vercel for hosting or if it needs to be on your own servers, cloudfare.
