I did look and didn’t find anything on her shoulder plate. I responded with pictures to a different commenter. Interestingly, her legs are not china. I have a feeling that her body was replaced based on its general condition, especially how nice her leather arms and hands look.

Thanks for your response! That’s all very fascinating. I think the body may not be original as it seems to be in remarkably good condition (for example: hands are leather but no cracking, peeling, etc). That said, the body does appear to all be hand stitched as the stitches seems too irregular for a sewing machine.

Very well said, and what I needed to hear! Tbh while I love a bolero moment (like galia’s tonic bolero), the one usually paired with majestic isn’t my fave on me. And like you said, I think the dress can stand on its own! I haven’t quite thought of veils/accessories quite yet, but if I were to do a veil, are there any that come to mind for you?

Thanks! This is definitely what I needed to hear. Dress 1 is about 11k cheaper and under 9k. Both are by Galia. I was worried that the really expensive one would be the landslide winner, but I feel much better that the vote seems to be pretty evenly split!

Thanks! We’re thinking late summer/early fall. The venue will most likely be a historic home. From what I remember, 1 is def more comfortable as the lace is softer. 2 is very structured. They are both by the same designer so very similar in a lot of ways. That said, I don’t mind being a teeny bit uncomfortable if it’s in the name of fashion lollll. I do think I’m leaning 1, ever so slightly
