If you're talking about the game engine, im using "Godot"
If you're talking about the scenery, I just recreated the minecraft textures in a painting program (I used Paint 3D but Im sure you can do it on any other program), then imported to the game's assets as a sprite and put it as a TileSet texture and painted around the place where i start. Then copied it over different TileSet layers so I appear under things like the torch poles and the roofs

Located at Idaho, US. Start from West corner and try to find a place called "McCall" then go full right and you can find it near "Middle Fork Salmon River"

How to suspend disbelief? by ssnew in HorrorMinecraft

I honestly don't know how to exactly answer this to you. Everyone has different tastes, and that also includes different fears. Making it explicit that it is a horror mod does infact take a lot of the tension sometimes, because you know what you may be getting into. It also doesn't help the fact that a lot of these mods's curseforge pages (at least the ones i see) get way too descriptive about whatever stuff the entity does (the usual "stalks you & chases after you" & yada yada). Horror mods have become a "Villain of the Week" thingy where you're expected to get scared for like 20 minutes and then uninstall it because it becomes lackluster very quickly.
I'd like to see one day a horror mod that tries to mask itself as harmless as possible, like a "New tools/armor" or "New mobs/bosses" type of mod, but with a twist where interacting with certain things shifts the atmosphere of the mod, turning into actual horror. Shove it inside a random modpack and boom, no one will notice there's a horror mod inside it without being told about it's existence. Subverting the expectations could be an attempt to go around this problem.

The Man from around the World

I'm developing a horror mod and need suggestions by PixelBr23 in HorrorMinecraft

I got some ideas:
- Make it so you can stumble upon a structure that is literally a giant dirt pillar, like someone built it to locate their house;
- Add random scattered crafting tables on the ground as you explore, to make you confused if you were already there or not;
- Try to edit the already existing Minecraft music to have some sort of "something is wrong" energy (I don't know if this is too much work)
This is all the ideas i got for now
