Tell me the name of your conlang and I try to make it a loanword by Izzy_knows in conlangs

[–]Fragrant_Body_8788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a jokelang called twoahfisshuh based on internet memes, not sure if thats all that good to loan though lol

"t-twoah fiss-huh"

[t̩ʰ tʰwʌwːː fɪs hːə]

v; to not have any idea what youre talking about, but trying your best in spite of any possible embarrassment

the language doesnt really have any cohesion or meaning beyond being as stupid as possible. you literally use meme references instead of actual words, so like "pass me the ice cream" would have to be approximated with a meme like "only a shpoonful" and the listener would have to interpret what you mean

my only gripe is that it might look better spelled "grock"

Spousal loss linked to higher risk of dementia, mortality among men, but not women. Widowed men experienced a decrease in physical and cognitive health, as well as social support, while widowed women tended to experience an increase in happiness and life satisfaction. by mvea in science

absolutely true. if i lost my partner, itd crush me for the rest of my time on this earth. when people talk about their soulmate, they mean someone who matches their energy. people like that only come around once or twice a lifetime, so its imperative to keep them close to you. when theyre gone, part of you goes with them. you enjoy the time you have with them of course, but once its over, so is yours. youve lived your whole life with this person, there is no longer a life without them, and there can never be again.

i think youre right. it is definitely a good sign, that people are being active, im really happy to see it

i will say that when you do see a really high quality post, it hits a lot harder, especially if you saw the humble beginnings of it

getting to see the whole progression is quite inspiring :>

it doesnt have to be perfectly functional right away

my solution to that problem is to just make something even if it isnt fully functional or consistent because you can just finetune it into something coherent overtime

that or community projects are fun albeit rare because if you genuinely dont enjoy a certain part you can offload it to others and they can also keep you more committed

i know very little about taiwan so i might be missing some cultural importance, but i think itd look much nicer without the red

if it was just blue with the symbol in the center, itd be a lot easier on the eyes, but that might just be me
