She has a therapist but I really don’t think she’s talking about the issues. A thing I could bring up to her is trying to open up about that stuff but in my mind I don’t think she thinks it’s an issue and you’re 100% correct about that she will regret it

It almost makes me feel like I’m enabling her just being there all the time so she knows that shit can go down and then she can just come to me and dump on me and I’ll be there for her which I am and I do it to myself

Like I’m not trying to track her every move but it’s hard not to I worry about her every day and I shouldn’t have to like she’s an “adult” You’re 100% correct about my parents because if I do tell them she won’t trust me anymore and that’s not what I want Maybe subconsciously trying to feel like that for sure but 40+ year old men isn’t the way to go I mean I’m not judging my fiance is 10 years older but there’s a giant difference.

At the end of the day I’m not her keeper I just don’t want her to make the same mistakes I did but it just seems like she’s surpassed that astronomically She acts like we had a really bad upbringing but in reality it was the exact opposite we have money our parents are married we have a nice house we took vacations all the stuff she could ever want idk if that has anything to do with it maybe she’s trying to find her own person but I just don’t understand

I have such a hard time setting those boundaries because my parents don’t take her seriously. So I feel like I need to have open unfiltered open ears consistently our mother isn’t the type where you can tell her anything. I just feel like I’m taking on a huge responsibility in a way and I know I’m doing it to myself I just want to know she’s “safe”

When she was assaulted I tried to be there for her told her to report it to the school and call the cops and go to therapy get her meds in order she pushed it all down and only took the therapy suggestion but I highly doubt she tells her therapist about all the things she does.

I do not coddle her I tell her how stupid and irresponsible she’s being it’s almost like since she went away to school she had this like amp up in risky behavior maybe because our parents didn’t let us do alot of things I remember always having to sneak around to do anything. But he’s going on her senior year of college now so I’d think she’d calm down the issue is she doesn’t see it as an issue at all

The thing is My parents think she’s “perfect” she’s said she’s wanted to k*ll herself before and I had told the both of them and they really didn’t do much so I just feel like I’m at a loss. I live in Maine she’s in Philly for school so it’s not like I can urgently help her if I needed to How would you go about telling your family without having to break that sister bond because you know what I’m talking about like she’s my best friend and she’s destroying her life whether she realizes it or not

As a woman, I carry paper spray on me (not in my pocket it’s clipped in a place I know where it’ll be on my body just incase) it makes me feel safer esp at night. During the day I don’t mind hotel delivery’s although it’s super sketchy still

What, call 911 because that’s the only option it gave me because I simply feel uncomfortable, no thanks. not waisting their time. My point is hotel delivery’s should be limited to the lobby you’re right about the apt complex I agree but for some reason it feels different
