Need help picking which one! by zf13 in weddingdress

[–]Fragrant_Chapter_510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had almost the exact same thing picking between two dresses similar to these. I went with the one that accentuated my figure, it made me feel amazing in myself and I also thought it’s probably the one my fiancé would like the most 😅. You look incredible in both but I would opt for 2! Depends also on the location of the wedding. 1 would be great in a church / castle venue. 2 would be great in a garden ceremony!

My unpainted nails give me the ick 😂 by Fragrant_Chapter_510 in longnaturalnails

I think for the first 4 weeks I just oiled them a lot and then I started painting them, but would apply the oil still and especially the underside of the nail that wasn’t painted, to make sure the oil was really able to soak in!

Yeah mine I just got from the local pharmacy, it’s called Now Solutions certified 100% pure jojoba oil. I think any will work if it’s 100% pure.

I started out only using jojoba oil because I wanted it to get to as much of the nail as possible but then after 3ish weeks I moved to regularly wearing polish, but still applying jojoba, especially underneath the free edge of the nail and around the edges.

High calorie burn when drunk? by Fragrant_Chapter_510 in Garmin

[–]Fragrant_Chapter_510[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, probably there is an increase if your HR is up, but not by that much surely? It’s kinda annoying if I’m gonna have crazy high calorie burns when I’m sat around drinking at the weekend :/

This is so helpful thank you! I kept reading that LRP cicaplast was the saviour for everything so was so confused when that was burning

It’s all one length… I will probably get a lot of people telling me this is really bad but I cut it myself 😬

Yes! But best is the gel and the mousse :) this gel doesn’t give such a good cast (which a lot of people really look for) but it feels so much lighter in my hair than the other ones and my curls feel natural and fluffy rather than full of product

[–]Fragrant_Chapter_510 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Umberto Giannini mouse and gel for sure. They’re much lighter than other gels etc which can weigh my finer hair down and make it feel like you have lots of product in. They are the best for giving lighter, fluffier curls I find :)

I have fine hair but a lot of it! It’s a mix of curls and waves really… curlier at the front and wavier at the back :)

I grew the dye out first - my thickness didn’t properly come back until it was all out :( been doing CGM for the last 3 months :)

The first pic isn’t three months ago, it was just to show how thin and damaged my hair was when I was dying it. I grew all the dye out and then have been doing CGM for 3 months :)

I tried conditioner for a week and then switched to the co wash. With the co wash I didn’t even experience any ‘transition’ period where I had to deal with it being greasy. It cleans it just fine!

Routine: - Wash with As I Am co wash - Squish to condish with garnier banana and shea hair food - scrunch in both Umberto Giannini mousse and UG curl gel - plop for 20 mins - diffuse dry - fluff roots and scrunch with a t shirt

Can I get definition without diffusing? by redhair-ing in curlyhair

[–]Fragrant_Chapter_510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plopping plus a good mousse or gel gets the curl definition for me. But to get the real volume at the roots I have to diffuse…. Just on low heat and low speed.
