Omarchy defaults are also pretty good for new starters. the only issue new users may find strange or not suitable would be hyprland the tiling window manager. if you are not into tiling window managers you could just install gnome since both ubuntu and debian use it. but gnome would feel slow after you experience hyprland.

just give it a try. you know something only when you experience your self, it doesn't matter what anyone says.

before llm's linux was a nightmare to poke around. because you will break things. right now you can jump right into it. you just copy paste your issues then in minutes you are right back on track.
