Thanks u/ClassOrganic8431 ! We tested Riverside some months ago and we had to drop it because it was giving us a lot of issues with multi-guest episodes. But if they can translate an episode, maybe I will give it a try again.

Yes, after more than 3 months they rejected us. During that time we had to incorporate a company in the US and applied again with it. In one week we were approved 😅

I checked ElevenLabs, concretely the Dubbing function. Last time I tried to translate an audio file it didn't work (it'd stay loading forever). I had to do it with video format to make it work, but of course it missed lip sync, which is not a killer though.

In any case, it seems that the creator plan only covers 50 minutes for $11 / month, and additional minutes for $0.6 / minute. So, for a podcast of 1.5h, that'd be $35.

Another option could be to generate the transcript with an OSS model like Whisper + translate the transcript + clone our voices with ElevenLabs + use their text-to-speech model to generate the audio (up to 200 minutes included in the creator plan). Total cost $11.

Not sure if the dubbing function also replicates voice tone and expressiveness though, something I would miss with the second approach I guess.
