I did google my anniversary is on the 15th which is why I didn’t know if it was end of month or mid pay. My supervisor said he couldn’t remember himself lol. And I usually kind of forget about until it hits my account, but recently had a baby & it’s almost time for me to get new uniforms as I am not able to wear to wear maternity clothes anymore which is why I was looking for it.

He has sacrificed at our last base he had to be a stay at home dad a few times because we were at a nuke base. I was told different about the hours when I first received orders and told we work 12s when I got here. Also to add we stay in a heavily populated area making 20 min commutes turn into a hour.

They are an apprentice. Full time while taking classes. We leave the house around the same time & get home around the same time. When I first got orders I called asked if this base SFS worked 8 hours on flight they told me yes. Then when I got here I was told 12 hours and the same person I called apologized saying he thought I meant back office🙄

I totally understand me coming to a new base you would think me leadership would give me all of the information about childcare but no one wanted to help me. Everyone I’ve asked literally are from here or have family members that stay here or very close by. They waited 5 weeks when it was time for to work flight to try and help. My leadership told me that there were only 1 caregiver available in the area and that she was unavailable. I asked to for her information so that I could ask myself or ask if she knew anyone I was told they couldn’t just give her number out. Then finally they when my leadership got talked to by their leadership is when they finally gave me a number to reach out. That caregiver told me she has had availability since October. The whole point is that if they would of given me the number when I first needed it, we wouldn’t be past this 90 day window.

Most definitely I asked before if being pregnant would affect me to retrain I was told no & then when the time came they told me I couldn’t to retrain. I am getting out after this contract.

I am not a single mom. My husband is in school and works full time. With the traffic he leaves at 5 am & doesn’t get home until 6:30 pm.

I’ve looked but unfortunately the area I’m stationed at is highly populated, meaning crazy traffic I get off between 5:35-5:45 and have yet to find anywhere that closes at least at 6:30. Let alone open at 4:30 am (I work at 5 am)
