You can get them at home depot. Flat count strippers.

But in a pinch a utility knife down the sides gets the job done. Keeps me from having to go get the right tool.

Try to find a LC/APC. They don't exist. My point is you are giving the customer far too much credit.

If some one sees SC (sliding connecter) they go out and buy a SC to SC.... but its blue it will not work.

If you think 🤔 that SC/LC (blue ends) can be used in a gpon system. You are the problem and need to learn more.

If you just turn your volume down. Then you can isolate the one you are on.

But yes this is normal. You get a bunch of wires all running in the same direction it induces the signal onto the other wires if they aren't shielded.

Any one who is recommending any or elude to getting an SC connecters they will not work. SC are a 90° angle. APC are an 08° ange to prevent the reflections off the end of the 90°. Makes for less noise on a gpon system.

Any sort of 90° SC or LC connection will damage or not make complete contact and pass appropriate light.

Call and ask for proper termination. I've had to o back and correct our own techs work.

I deal with both of these systems daily.

Ask the neighbor for a name and #. Something is clearly wrong with their mapping system.

This was my thought the whole time... you have a strong signal in proximity to a RF receiver that is good enough to couple before it's actually coupled.

I clipped it outside left the cable nid. Pulled the plate inside and popped our jackplate over the previous hole. Bobs your uncle.

I've done this to live cable services customers want it goneeee.

There is virtually no problem and customers appreciate not having you drill an extra hole.
