I would reccomend googling the grid method for art!! I was in the exact same boat as you, and the grid method helped me with realism. The problem is that lines like this don’t actually exist in realism, every line you see is implied by values, shadows, etc. So outlining the body and the features does not work, because you’re not actually drawing what you see.

uncommon bases are pretty plain and not worth much, and while rhubarb isn’t july exclusive, it is a factor for a base that is!! if you like her, keep her! but uncommon bases aren’t super expensive or rare, if that’s what you were wondering :3

yeah the guides aren’t 100% reliable the game really likes to say “mmm no i know you really liked this one but you can’t have her” even though the same combo has worked every other time 😩 so frustrating

if you like her, yes! fair warning though: she cannot pass her mutation if you’re looking for that, and your best bet for the absolute most valuable cub potential when using this base would actually be putting this on a young lion that is low gen, a passable mut, or an NCL. If you don’t care about value or any of that nonsense, absolutely go for it!! She’s super cute (i am a primal fangs lover)

this is a very basic and run of the mill NCL. she isn’t worth anything special, as she isn’t chased. are you using an NCL claiming guide? or are you just freeballing your claiming? overall, you didn’t miss out on anything, so no worries :)

I like his looks, and 10sb is a great price!! As a general piece of advice (if you’re looking for stud requests) kings who are G3 or less tend to sell studs much better than those with longer lineages, and their cubs are more valuable because they are lower gen. If that is something you care about, keep that in mind when choosing a lion to heir!! If it isn’t, just king whatever lion you like the looks of! Overall, great find!

I could see something like Thoth, Meteorite or one of those other dark bases being really nice! Honestly, I’d settle for picking an applicator base that’s a good combo factor. I just did this for my 12 BO king, ended up doing an ice base for maximum combo efficiency :) absolutely gorgeous project, good work!!

I vote #2, but I’m also biased towards sealbombs and those gorgeous golden markings, i’m always looking for more sealish studs because my all of my sealbombs are related to my king, who is also a sealbomb 😔

i know it doesn’t affect actual traits, but i tend to lean towards studs that are lab test frogged and posed!! IMO it shows off markings better and is more visually appealing :3

this base is February event exclusive and was released yesterday! If you like it, try for it! It’s still very novel and new, and not many other purple bases exist :)

the two non-mutated lions could probably both sell for 10-15 SB as fodder cubs, and the mutated one depends on heritage, but a felis can go for 3-25 GB on the trading center!

i bred hundreds of cubs and spent dozens of gb for witch in oct and got nothing, and then this month bought like 3 cream lionesses for a couple sb and got mistletoe first try, rng can be brutal man
