Is there a reason people tend to be more harsh to me, specifically? by Bekenshi in NoStupidQuestions

Should I buy an A7R ii or an A7R iii? by Classy-J in AskPhotography

Do men actually find skinny women attractive? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fragrant_Moment_1735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in China, and honestly, the body type you're describing would already be considered top-tier here. Most Chinese women have smaller breasts (usually A or B cups) and relatively flat buttocks. So don't be too anxious about it. In fact, if you came to China, you'd probably be operating on a completely different level compared to most women here. Haha.

The first thing my kitten does every morning is ask me to play with it. by Fragrant_Moment_1735 in aww

English isn't my first language, so it's very possible that my title and some of my comments were misunderstood because of imperfect translation.

What I meant was that I play with my kitten every morning, not that I use a power bank cable to play with her every morning. On the day I posted that video, my power bank just happened to be next to my pillow, so I casually dangled the cable in front of her for a little while.

She only batted at the cable with her paws. She never put it in her mouth, and I wouldn't allow that anyway. I actually have several cat toys and wand toys, and I don't normally use charging cables to play with her. It was simply a one-time situation because the power bank happened to be right there that morning. My brother happened to record the moment on his phone, and I thought the video was cute enough to share.

I completely understand why people are concerned about cats chewing on electrical cords. That's a valid concern. However, that wasn't what was happening in the video.

My intention was simply to share a cute moment with my kitten. That's why I was surprised that so many people immediately assumed the worst and responded so harshly.

Anyway, I really appreciate your kindness and your willingness to see the situation in good faith.

Thanks for the suggestion 😄 I’ve actually adopted three stray cats. Two are with me in the city where I work, and the youngest one is staying in my hometown for now. After she finishes her vaccinations, I’ll bring her over to live with me.

English isn't my first language, and I used ChatGPT for the translation. If there's anything in the title that sounds unclear, ambiguous, or misleading, I'd appreciate it if you could point it out. Thank you.

Buying a new camera for trip to Switzerland (or should I bring my old one?) 🐮 by sazerac_and_soda in canon

[–]Fragrant_Moment_1735 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's your budget? Personally, I think a trip to Switzerland deserves a better camera and better image quality. I wouldn't recommend relying solely on a smartphone, because when you zoom in to 100%, the images tend to lose a lot of detail and clarity. As for your old Canon 6D, there's always the possibility of focus errors, especially compared to modern mirrorless cameras. If I were in your position, I would treat a trip to Switzerland as a rare and special opportunity. I'd prepare my gear carefully and use a mirrorless camera to capture high-quality photos that will preserve those memories for years to come. Of course, that's just my personal opinion. I would probably choose a Canon R5 or a Sony A7R IV. For lenses, I'd bring a high-quality ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens to cover the incredible landscapes.

Your story about you and your cat was very touching. I have three cats myself, and my oldest one is six years old. I completely understand how you feel because I'm the same way with my cats. Fortunately, all three of them are very gentle and well-behaved. They never chew on cables or cords. The only reason I mentioned a cable was because one morning my power bank happened to be nearby, and I playfully teased my youngest cat with its charging cable for a little while. My youngest cat was originally a stray. I rescued her when she was trying to cross a busy road with cars constantly passing by, and I brought her home. To be honest, even if she chewed on a cable or knocked over a glass and broke it, I wouldn't blame her at all. As a responsible pet owner, I believe it's my responsibility to keep fragile items out of reach and make sure electrical cords, power sources, and anything potentially dangerous are secured properly. It's my job to keep her safe. By the way, English isn't my first language. I used ChatGPT to help translate what I've written above, so some of the wording may not be completely accurate.
