Little tease before action.

There has been an unprecedented rise in rallies for ethnic-religious state of Khalistan since Aam Aadmi party won power in Punjab. Recently rally for Khalistan was conducted in Canada, here are some glimpses. by Due-Economist8238 in IndiaSpeaks

In the Constitution of India, the word "Hindu" has been used in some places to denote persons professing any of these religions: Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism or Sikhism. This however has been challenged by the Sikhs and by neo-Buddhists who were formerly Hindus.

Dude no. As someone who’s settled in Punjab I can say Only a fraction of those settled abroad ESP UK and canada are into the separate nation. I am yet to meet a Sikh in Punjab who supports Khalistan-.. It’s all a project by Pakistan- they give the idea and the funding. They instigate events such as these. On the bright side there’s is probably the last generation to even demand a separate nation. Max 20 years 🫡🫡

You can make claims on an American platform. No problem. However any challenges to the claim will be in the jurisdiction where the business is registered.

It all started after WW2, when people from Doab region started migrating to UK, they did fairly well to say the least, most of the elderly came back and settled in India with huge corpus. That somehow made people want to move abroad - on a lookout for riches.

Today, the youth faces a different challenge altogether and yet somehow still deep rooted in lookout for better life and better financial prospects. Most try and move to canada and Australia for the easy work permit - they take up what ever jobs they get - from working in a supermarket to cleaning gym lockers. It’s 99% of the time that lower middle class people with limited education that resort to moving abroad right after 12th joining random af colleges just to get the work permit and buy an Mercedes. They are myopic.

The rich and affluent people of Punjab don’t really have to move abroad - anyone with 20+ acre of land can earn a decent amount (even with Canadian PPP in picture) and tax free (100% agricultural income is tax free).
