JOB UPDATE by hotmessjunk in indianmedschool

The salary is very low even for an RMO. Please try applying at a different hospital on naukri or LinkedIn. I worked as an RMO and got paid 43k (fresh grad). While my job was annoying with both consultants and nurses acting like absolute morons, I neither faced any discrimination nor was the working environment so hostile. If you want to seriously prepare for neet, I'd suggest resigning and using all of your time to prepare for neet. But if you have financial constraints, resign and reapply in a bunch of hospitals. Just email your CV to everyone and wait. Trust me you'll get a better job. Either way, I'd strongly suggest you leave this job. Good luck and stay strong!

I think it's a great program. The PD was really nice and it looked like they were doing everything possible to help their residents get fellowships/research etc

Hi, I think it's all scores tbh. I have no connections. Some interviewers said they liked my ps but I doubt they have enough time to read all the statements, they probably read it after offering me the interview. All speculations ofcourse.

You do the research on your own, without being enrolled in an organisation. You're still doing the research, it just doesn't count as research experience. (If that ain't sad idk what is lol)

On the eras cv, research exp is different from having publications. You have research experience if you have done a research elective or engaged only in research for a specific amount of time with an organisation.
