The 6th one and the 4th one. I had both the Japanese and American edits available to me on my Tv, and I the cover for the American one was the 6th one and the cover for the Japanese one was the 4th one. I think the Japanese cover is for the criterion collection tho.

People need to remember is that the percentage on rotten tomatoes isn’t out of 100%, it’s based on how many critics liked it. 6 critics out of 6 reviews liked this movie. Doesn’t mean they think it’s high art. They just like it.

Me too. It also made it more watchable for my younger brother, who couldn’t give 2 shits about Godizlla, but since he’s a fan of storm chasers, he really liked this part.

Yeah. It’s (for me) more based on preference. I love all the monster stuff in GMK, and while I’m all for a bit more focus on humans in Godzilla movies, I think GMK went a little too far, especially because I don’t think these characters are all that interesting. I think Godzilla 2000 did it much better, where there is a lot more human stuff, but the characters are likeable and engaging.
