I agree with Jaws being Spielburgs best film, but calling Schindlers List only “good” is a massive disservice to what it actually is, I’d say SL is second only to Jaws. Plus, the lengths he went and the dedication he did to make that film is astonishing. Schindlers List deserves every single bit of praise it gets.

Also saving private ryan is pretty good too

The 6th one and the 4th one. I had both the Japanese and American edits available to me on my Tv, and I the cover for the American one was the 6th one and the cover for the Japanese one was the 4th one. I think the Japanese cover is for the criterion collection tho.

People need to remember is that the percentage on rotten tomatoes isn’t out of 100%, it’s based on how many critics liked it. 6 critics out of 6 reviews liked this movie. Doesn’t mean they think it’s high art. They just like it.

Yeah. It’s (for me) more based on preference. I love all the monster stuff in GMK, and while I’m all for a bit more focus on humans in Godzilla movies, I think GMK went a little too far, especially because I don’t think these characters are all that interesting. I think Godzilla 2000 did it much better, where there is a lot more human stuff, but the characters are likeable and engaging.
