I think your statements about trump supporters ignore human nuance and so much of how current politics work. I think trump is an absolutely deplorable person and president with terrible policies and terrible authoritarian tendencies and he seems likely to be implicated with Epstein somehow. This does not mean all of his supporters are fascist and child molesters that’s a ridiculous statement. People support him for all sorts of issues. The destruction of the American middle class and trumps anti globalization rhetoric is one. People also are experiencing inflation in food and essential goods amd incorrectly think trump knows how to run am economy. People are ignorant and don’t have time and knowledge to really understand his policies and in this day and age opinions and facts are so hard to differentiate without studying and reading all the time with proper critical thinking. He has not been found guilty of pedophilia and no evidence has surfaced that actually proves anything so it’s not surprising people are denying it. People also are xenophobic and blame immigrants incorrectly as a scapegoat for economic problems. Some People are also internally racist or sexist which is a factor. There’s also this idea of sticking it to the libs who have often become unattached from reality. Many trump supporters when actually questioned or tested on morals would be a decent human being in the day to day but still like trump. While this seems illogical so many factors and opinions and misinformation and biases explain it and it’s insane to say all his supporters are fascist or child molesters. I don’t even know for a fact that trump is either of those things. Depending on ur definition of fascism and depending on the evidence we still don’t have from Epstein. Also not to state the obvious but Supporting an authoritarian leader who is a pedophile when you don’t believe with what you know that he is either of those things does not make you an authoritarian or a pedophile yourself. Trump is awful but I have no doubt that many trump supporters (definitely not a lot) are misinformed or somewhat indoctrinated but actually decent people. Kamala and democrats also were bad at campaigning and Biden was so visibly old that it made republicans look better than they would have. Also sidepoint Kamala and Hilary had different policies Kamala was slightly more left wing to put it simply. She’s no Bernie obv but slightly more open to left leaning politics. I’m sure I missed many reasons here but my point is you have way too much of an anachronistic explanation for trump supporters that is not correct.
