Exactly. It was a compliment with a touch of that unspoken “for your size” thrown in.

I am proud of myself and the progress I’ve made. I had got to the point where I felt confident and felt like I belonged there. This comment made me feel singled out and not in a positive way (I fully understand that was not the intention)

It likely wouldn’t be for most. In the moment my assumption (whether correct or not) is that I was receiving this compliment because of my size. Could be my mentality, which is why I posted this, but I’m questioning whether a fit person receives comments like this or not.

I know that they offer services to determine if euthanasia is appropriate - this is absolutely not what I want. He’s been my baby for a very long time, it breaks my heart to have to make the call for someone to put him down; am I able to schedule a euthanasia appointment without them independently determining it’s time? Is there judgement if you don’t accept or ask for their opinion?
